My week in workouts..


How often I workout varies from week to week depending on what I have got on, I usually try to do some kind of exercise between 4 and 5 times a week. I love exercising and don't find it a chore, it helps  me de-stress and lifts my mood especially at the end of a hectic day. 
I try and mix it up by doing classes at the gym, weights, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and the odd run outdoors. So I don't get bored and stuck in a rut.

At the minute I am loving supersets and HIIT workouts because they are fast and you can get a workout done in under 45 minutes
I get lots of ideas for different exercises from Instagram and youtube


Here is my workout from today;

I did 3 sets of each exercise with no rest

5 minute warmup on treadmill
15 35kg squats using smith machine INTO 15 bicep curls to overhead press
15 lunges (each leg) using smith machine INTO 30 sec side plank (each side)
10 35kg deadlifts INTO 15 bicep curls using 10 kg barbell
15 tricep pulldowns INTO 10kg single arm row
15 sumo squats INTO weighted walking lunges
30 sec weighted wall sit INTO 15 press ups
Abs circuits including reverse crunch, leg raises, plank, russian  twist, bicycle crunches
15 minutes on spin bike 30 seconds of HIIT 1 minutes rest
STRETCH!!

Quick shower then off to a wedding cake meeting, how appropriate :)
