Just because I am away its no reason to get lazy (and pile on the pounds)... Yes I have been to the gym whilst I am here, people think you must be crazy to workout whilst on holiday, I dont have to I want to and I enjoy it. It also means I can eat and drink what I want whilst here without the guilt, because they seem to put bread on the table everywhere you go and the ice cream man comes round all day long and I just cant say no!
I have still been sticking with my weight training a couple of days and slotting in a bit of interval training too.
Me and my now HUSBAND have also been playing squash and tennis, which I have loved. What better way to get some cardio in, as I am usually so lazy when it comes to it.
So what next....
I have been thinking about where I want to go with my training. Firstly I need to get a good routine in place of when I can train that will work around my family like, this is usually very early mornings or when the kids have gone to bed.
I want to lift heavier! I dont want to be super ripped but definately have more muscle definition, I think I have a good idea of where to draw the line between the two.
I must do more cardio! It has to be done if I want to shift the excess fat that likes to hang about on my butt and thighs. I am finding HIIT sessions first thing in the morning (6am) with my buddie Millie is working well so far.
I am hoping to get a Personal Training course completed by the end of the year as I would love to be able to help others get fit and healthier as it is definately the way forward. Plus I am very bossy so think that would help!
But for now its back to the sunbathing and a strawberry daiquiri.
